Care to hear the 3 Biggest Myths About Finding the Subluxation
That Will Never Get you the Results You Want?

  1. The first is that subluxations are related to the symptoms experienced

  2. The second is that there are no neurological tests that confirm its presence

  3. The third is that recurrent subluxations need more adjusting...over and over!

Let me tell you - there is a better way!
Don't let these 3 myths kill
 your chance
of improving your chiropractic skills

Dr Neil Davies, D.C.
If you've been in chiropractic practice for some time, or even if you're a new chiropractic graduate, you might well be asking yourself some questions about finding and correcting the subluxation. It can be an elusive, challenging and frustrating voyage...and we've all been there!

The good news is you don't have to spend as long as I did, about 30 years for good measure, to get it right. Read on and find out why Paris in October 2008 could be the best day you ever spent on your chiropractic future.

Here's what I learned, in a nutshell, in my undergraduate years at Palmer College...

  • Learn to be proficient at motion palpation
  • Confirm your findings using neurology
  • Understand the difference between subluxation and compensation
  • Learn what pain findings represent and how they're used
  • Postural patterns and their implications for the subluxation
  • When to walk away from the cervical spine and head down to the sacrum
  • How to recognise when adjustment is no longer indicated

Feel a touch of recognition? Feel like you used to know this? Strange how we have to go back to the basics sometimes and stranger to find that this was all taught and published long ago. Dr Clarence Gonstead D.C. is famous for stating this...

"The most important part of getting people well is to take your time, give them the utmost of your ability as a chiropractor, find the correct subluxation. Accept it. Correct it. Leave it alone."

The hardest lessons learned are when not to adjust! Remember, once adjusted, you can't take it back again. Does the word 'dysafferentation' mean anything to you?

Could it be that imprecise adjustments can even work against your patients, causing harm rather than helping their nervous system?

Dont bang your head against the wall
Here's the good news - don't bang your head against the wall! I have spent most of my professional career investigating the subluxation, poring through the research and techniques of old and fine tuning my own clinic procedures.

You can now have the benefit of years of my work as an end of 2008 present. Join me in Paris in October 2008 and find out how I can help you.

Now, if you practice in Europe or the UK, read this carefully and play this audio message because I'll be in your neck of the woods in October 2008 and you're about to get an early Christmas present from me.

The NIP Basic seminar is the compilation of the earlier Adjusting the Child knowledge base with additional neurological examination techniques and subluxation detection methodology.

From cranial and upper cervical to lumbosacral and peripheral subluxations, a global neural perspective is utilised to demonstrate use of motion palpation, neurology, postural and compensation patterns, pain findings and muscle testing...and much more...to improve your ability in honing in and correction of the primary subluxation.

The technique is named “neuro” and “impulse” as these two words best describe what is done. The focus of the assessment is on cortical function and the adjustment is an impulse style thrust that aims to restore functional balance to the brain and cord.
There is no emphasis on “moving” anything and manipulative techniques are never employed.

The underlying principle of NeuroImpulse Protocol adjusting is in fact to take advantage of both theNotre Dame time and force elements that go to make up total impulse.

Light contacts are held for prolonged periods and are then followed by a toggle recoil thrust which is essentially a low displacement, high velocity thrust delivering a neural stimulus in a very short period of time.

The NIP basic seminar is going to be held in Paris this year. The dates are Friday October 24 through Sunday October 26, 2008. The number of satisfied NIP chiropractors around the world is growing and no wonder – increasing new patient numbers, satisfied patients, literally a zero malpractice risk and added years to the bodies of the chiropractors.
